Cass Garison is a poet & artist with an MFA from University of Washington, Seattle. They have work published at Poets.org, in Gulf Coast, Washington Square Review, Columbia: A Journal of Literature and Art Online, River Styx, Salamander, Foglifter, & others. They are currently the Assistant Managing Editor at Chestnut Review and a 2023-24 Hugo House Fellow.
Cass is also the recipient of the 2019 Frontier-Antioch Fellowship, a member of the poetry collective Eat Yr Manhood, and were a part of the Pennsylvania Public Poetry Project in 2019. They have attended Writing Workshops in Greece, the Kenyon Review Writers' Workshop, and the Winter Tangerine Writing Workshop. They received the Academy of American Poets Prize and the Joan Grayston Award from UW Seattle.
