About the Retreat
I host an annnual retreat at Forest Creek in Darrington, Washington. It is open to artists and creators working & playing in all mediums, at all stages in their creative journeys. This retreat, in its conception and hopes, is a place where we can all create, co-create, explore physically & mentally, have conversations, make connections, play, and learn from & with each other. All artists are invited to run a workshop or skill-share, and we have group creative activities, shared meals, solo-work time, gazing at the mountain, nature walks, bonfires, hot tub soaks, and more.

Testimonials

" The retreat weekend was profoundly restorative and rejuvenating: the combination of learning from other creatives, feeling such strong community and support, and the transformative space that is Forest Creek left me with a deep energy, peace and renewed creative purpose." -Jack Verzah
“i don’t imagine i’ll have too many opportunities in my life to stay in such a beautiful space surrounded by artists who all hold their work with such curiosity and intention. the space alone was enough— the cozy yurts, the barn, the river all on this dreamy property in the PNW. but there was more! cass’s attention to detail— the optional workshops, loose schedule, meals respecting everyone’s dietary restrictions— created a comfortable environment where we could all discuss dreams, ideas, struggles, and goals. because there was a balance between play and structure, it made it easier to both create and explore new things (for me, that new thing was clay molding and body casting). everyone held the space with skill, tenderness, and respect and i’m grateful for the connections we all have as a result.” -Sullivan Forderhase
